For Physical Goods (Books)

For physical goods (books), Vaidik Sanskar strives for customer satisfaction. We allow returns of unopened, unused books in their original packaging within a specified window after delivery.

  • Return Window: We recommend a 7-day return period to balance customer flexibility and logistics.
  • How to Request: To request a return, please contact our support team with your order details.
  • Inspection: We will inspect the return and, if it meets the conditions, refund the purchase price via the original payment method.
  • Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for any shipping costs on returned books unless the item was defective.

Example: If paid by credit card, refunds are issued back to the same card.

For Pandit (Service) Bookings

We allow cancellations up to a cutoff time before the scheduled puja. All refunds are processed promptly via the original payment channel once approved.

  • Cancellations ≥24 hours: If you cancel 24 hours or more before the service, we will refund your fee in full.
  • Cancellations <24 hours: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the service may incur a cancellation fee or partial refund. We deduct only our processing costs (e.g., a fixed ₹200 fee and any transaction/shipping charges).
  • No-Show: In no-show cases (when the pandit arrives on time but the service is canceled), no refund is given.

Summary: Returns accepted for books within ~7 days if unopened. Pandit cancellations ≥24h get full refund; <24h incur ₹200 charge. Customer pays return shipping for books.
